How to Install Dusklight (Dusk) Twilight Princess — All Platforms
Dusklight (previously known as Dusk) is a native PC port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It was developed by the TwilitRealm team based on a full game decompilation and was released in May 2026. It runs very smoothly, supports higher frame rates, works with multiple controllers, allows texture mods, and the best part is that it can run easily on many devices without using an emulator.
This guide has been updated for the latest stable release v1.3.0. Always download from the official GitHub source or dusklightguide.com only.
Before You Start
You need a legal GameCube disc dump. Dusklight does not include any Nintendo files inside it. To play the game, you will need to use your own legally dumped copy of the GameCube version of Twilight Princess.
Download only from the official source. Go to: github.com/TwilitRealm/dusklight/releases or dusklightguide.com/install
Update to version v1.3.0. This update fixes many problems, such as crashes on Apple Silicon Macs, the Ilia hair bug, Windows file path issues, and save file visibility problems.

Next Steps for a Better Experience
Install Henriko Magnifico’s 4K Texture Pack (the size is around 6 GB).
Also try different graphics settings — Vulkan or D3D12 usually give you much better performance.
You can also enable cool built-in features like free camera, Mirror Mode (Wii style), achievements, and a speedrun timer.
Your old Dolphin save files can also be transferred easily.
